At FELIXprinters, we don’t just create 3D bioprinters; we create solutions. Built on the robust FELIX Pro desktop platform, our FELIX BIOprinter was developed in partnership with leading scientists as part of the EU-funded Training4CRM project. Designed to meet the complex requirements of regenerative medicine, our bioprinter offers extensive customization options, making it ideal for researchers looking to push the boundaries of neurodegenerative and cell-based therapies.
In developing the FELIX BIOprinter for the Training4CRM project, we tailored features to support neurodegenerative research, such as Parkinson’s disease treatments. Researchers needed custom temperature controls and syringe stability to ensure cell viability and precise material deposition. Through several prototypes, we optimized these features, demonstrating our ability to innovate for high-stakes scientific applications.

Our FELIX BIOprinter’s advanced design includes essential features built specifically for adaptability:
Change between extruders and materials rapidly, taking only seconds.
The extruder features a smart adjustment mechanism, allowing it to accommodate luer lock syringes of different brands with capacities of 1ml and 5ml.
The printer has the capability to detect an empty syringe or a clogged nozzle, enabling it to automatically enter pause mode.
With an extrusion force of 350 Newton or 35 Kg, the printer empowers you to print with a diverse array of materials.
For a full list of features, see the FELIX BIOprinter product page.
Our work on the Training4CRM project required us to host researchers on-site, who provided invaluable feedback on real-time needs and equipment requirements. Together, we created prototypes that evolved into a widely available, reliable FELIX BIOprinter model, showcasing our ability to adapt and innovate for research-driven customization projects.
The FELIX BIOprinter goes beyond traditional bioprinting. By allowing you to shape your bioprinter to meet exact specifications, FELIXprinters provides a research asset designed to support ambitious projects in regenerative medicine and cell-based therapies.
