Our custom High-Temperature Plastic Printer was developed to meet the demands of industrial-scale polycarbonate production. This customized 3D printer enables the efficient, durable production of large components, such as lighting shades of 600 x 600 x 600 mm, that require high-temperature materials and high-volume output.

Customization Process

1. Feasibility Study

We began by evaluating the Pro HT platform’s potential for high-temperature polycarbonate printing, conducting material compatibility checks and sourcing suitable components to ensure we could meet both technical and economic requirements. This phase confirmed the project’s viability, creating a clear roadmap for development.

2. Prototype Phase

With feasibility established, we moved to prototype development. Our team designed, sourced high-temp components, and built the first model with enhanced heating elements and a reinforced structure for larger print volumes. After rigorous testing, the prototype met all client specifications for durability and high-temperature functionality.


3. 0-Series Phase

0-Series Phase: Based on prototype testing, we refined specifications and optimized the design, producing a small batch to verify consistency and reliability in real-world conditions. This phase ensured that all elements performed as expected, readying the model for full-scale production.

4. Production Series Phase

In full-scale production, we finalized all adjustments, documented specifications, and built the entire batch of customized printers. The units were then prepared and shipped, ready for immediate integration into the client’s production line.

5. Aftercare & Service

To ensure a smooth transition, we provided in-person and online training to the client’s team, along with ongoing maintenance and support to keep the printer operating at peak performance. This phase established a strong support system, ensuring sustained productivity and satisfaction.

6. Performance Review

A few months after delivery, we conducted a follow-up review to assess the printer’s performance in action. Based on client feedback, we made minor adjustments and provided further insights to maximize efficiency, creating a feedback loop for continuous improvement and long-term success.
