FELIXprinters announced the addition of FELIX Pro series to its product portfolio, a move to enhance their range of printing solutions and technology. The first 3D printer in the series is the FELIX Pro 1. The 3D printer has been designed to offer cost-effective 3D printing by offering a blend of intuitive workflow with professional quality.

Incredible amount of automated features

Featuring fully automated bed calibration, a detachable print bed, out-of-filament detection, and intelligent nozzle positioning, the Pro 1 will truly make 3D printing a lot easier. The FELIX Pro 1 has a build volume of 255 x 245 x 225 mm and always comes with two full metal hot-ends, enabling the user to work with different colors and different materials in one single print. Direct drive mechanism just at the entrance of the hot-end enables perfectly printing of a wide range of filaments such as flexible materials.

Intelligent hot-end positioning

To prevent accidental interference (for example heat exchange) between the two hot-ends when printing in Dual Mode, the right hot-end will adapts its position during printing. The distance between the idle hot-end and printbed will be increased.

Automatically calibrated and detachable print bed

The heated print bed of the FELIX Pro 1 will mechanically calibrate itself before every print job – resulting in a perfect start of a print job. After a print is finished the print bed can be easily detached from the frame due to a magnetic connection. This feature enables the user to conveniently remove the printed object from the print bed.

Expanding product lines

FELIXprinters has great success with the original upgradable series that started with the FELIX 1.0. The current version of this line is the FELIX 3.1, the successor of the Make Magazine Surprise Hit winning FELIX 2.0. FELIXprinters is taking their products to the next level by entering the professional 3D FDM printing market with the FELIX pro product line.
