January 24, 2019FELIXprinters Launches its most Robust & Reliable Pro 3D Printer for Industrial Applications: The Pro 3
Designed to PERFORM, the Pro 3 3D printer from FELIXprinters builds on the success of its predecessors in terms of quality construction and reliable output. FELIXprinters has listened to what customers say is most important to them, and has incorporated a number of key features into the Pro 3 that meet these demands. This 3D printer is an intuitive, easy-to-use manufacturing tool for every stage of the product development workflow with an optimal price/performance ratio. Coupled with a new and intelligent focus for the company, embracing a vigorous strategy for the provision of 3D printers for industrial applications, this marks an exciting start to 2019 for one of Europe’s leading Additive Manufacturing platform suppliers.
January 2019; IJsselstein, The Netherlands: FELIXprinters, headquartered close to Amsterdam in the Netherlands, is an additive manufacturing / 3D printing company with a strong heritage and “precision technology” focus. The company’s range of 3D printers and ancillary products and services provide a wide range of capabilities for companies that are integrating 3D printing into their product development and manufacturing workflows.
Moreover, the Pro 3 also offers extremely quick heat-up and cool-down of the print heads, meaning that the dual head print times are reduced by a factor of 2. Overall temperature control has been significantly improved on the Pro 3 together with optimal object cooling with dual high power blowers, which results in more consistent extrusion of filament and consequently more accurate print results.
The Pro 3 also features a new touchscreen module, with integrated print-server. It is a small and powerful octacore computer, which makes the user’s life easier by providing a smooth and intuitive user interface, real time remote webcam monitoring, multi-user control via a web interface, print file management, WiFi and Ethernet connectivity, the ability to render g-codes, and the ability to create a time lapse of the print.
Guillaume Feliksdal, Founder and Director of FELIXprinters explains the genesis of the new printer.“The Pro 3 has been developed to integrate seamlessly into industrial workflows, whether that is in an office, a workshop, lab or factory environment. The priority was to deliver a 3D printer that produces optimized print results — every time! This is what customers tell us is most frustrating for them in their day-to-day operations with 3D printing, and these are the issues we set out to address with the Pro 3. The feedback we are getting back from our beta testers is hugely impressive.”
Feliksdal continues: “Our team at FELIXprinters all have technical engineering backgrounds, so we know that “quality in” equals “quality out”! We have sourced extremely high-quality components to ensure that the Pro series of printers are both robust and reliable – and these are the cornerstone of the new FELIX Pro 3.”
As many industrial sectors have shifted their manufacturing workflow to incorporate 3D printing, FELIXprinters has repositioned itself and its portfolio to serve the changing needs of industry. This has been achieved through careful attention to detail, listening to what customers say, and developing products and features to meet their needs. The Pro 3 3D printer meets these expectations and more.
